Cinéphiles Bristol
What is Cinéphiles? This is a film discussion group which meets monthly on the first Monday in Watershed Meeting Room Waterside 1, through the bar, from 7.30pm - 10 pm. We talk about 3 or 4 films seen during the preceding month at Watershed (you don’t have to see them all!). Our discussion is aided by video interviews and clips on chosen titles plus trailers of forthcoming films. Meetings are lively, informative and enjoyable. Admission is £5 (£4 concessions).

A Message From Our Glorious Leader
The Next Meeting Of Cinephiles will take place at 7.30pm in the Watershed Cinema, Bristol on Monday 7th October.
Presenter, Brian Clay, comments: “It was great to welcome a number of new enthusiastic members at last month’s relaunch. The meeting chose three diverse titles for the October meet-up. Mark Jenkins’ remarkable new film ‘Bait’ has been extended for a fourth week at the Watershed and should give rise to a lively debate, for a start. The other British independent film, Joanna Hogg’s ‘The Souvenir’, couldn’t be more different and it will be interesting to hear members’ reactions. The third title ’The Farewell’ has attracted four-star ratings and is being screened this week so catch it while you can! Remember you don’t have to have seen all the titles selected – if you love film, you will be amongst friends! And don’t forget the new start time of 7.30pm – see you in Waterside One, through the bar.”
